Description
Flat-screen TVs have small speakers, and voices are usually the first thing to suffer. The Sonos Beam (Gen 2) sits under the TV and gives you clearer dialogue, fuller sound and Dolby Atmos support, all from a bar that's only about 65 cm wide.
It connects to your TV with a single HDMI eARC cable and works with your existing TV remote. When the TV is off, it's also a music speaker: stream over Wi-Fi from the Sonos app or Apple AirPlay 2. You can add a Sonos Sub or rear speakers later if you want to build a bigger system.
In the box: Sonos Beam (Gen 2), power cable, HDMI cable and optical audio adapter. Note that Beam connects over Wi-Fi and does not have Bluetooth.

What is layby?
Layby is a way to buy something by paying it off first. You choose an item, pay small weekly or fortnightly instalments, and we deliver it free once it is fully paid. It is not credit, so there is no interest and no debt.
Is there a credit check?
No. Layby is not credit, so we do not run a credit check or ask for proof of income. You just need to be 18 or older, with a New Zealand delivery address.
How do I apply, and what happens after I apply?
Choose your item, pick an instalment and fill in the short online application. Nothing is charged when you apply. We will contact you, usually within one business day, to confirm your plan and set up your payments securely. Your layby starts once we send you the written layby agreement and you confirm it.
Do I have to be a certain age to apply?
Yes. You must be 18 or older to start a layby, and we ask for your date of birth to check. If you are younger than that, a parent or guardian can set up a layby in their own name.
Can I put more than one item on a plan?
Yes. Add the items to your cart and pay one combined instalment. Your payments go to the cheapest item first, and we send each item as it is paid off. You can also have up to 3 active plans at once, as long as your combined instalments are no more than $600 per week.
