Description
The Odyssey G5 is a good-value step up from a basic office monitor. The 27-inch screen has a sharp 2560 x 1440 (QHD) resolution and a 1000R curve that wraps slightly around your field of view, which suits both gaming and having two windows open side by side.
For gaming, the 165Hz refresh rate and 1ms (MPRT) response time keep fast movement clear, and AMD FreeSync helps prevent screen tearing. To get the full 165Hz you'll need to connect a PC over DisplayPort. It also works well with a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S over HDMI.
In the box: monitor, stand and power supply. The stand tilts but does not adjust for height.

What is layby?
Layby is a way to buy something by paying it off first. You choose an item, pay small weekly or fortnightly instalments, and we deliver it free once it is fully paid. It is not credit, so there is no interest and no debt.
Is there a credit check?
No. Layby is not credit, so we do not run a credit check or ask for proof of income. You just need to be 18 or older, with a New Zealand delivery address.
How do I apply, and what happens after I apply?
Choose your item, pick an instalment and fill in the short online application. Nothing is charged when you apply. We will contact you, usually within one business day, to confirm your plan and set up your payments securely. Your layby starts once we send you the written layby agreement and you confirm it.
Do I have to be a certain age to apply?
Yes. You must be 18 or older to start a layby, and we ask for your date of birth to check. If you are younger than that, a parent or guardian can set up a layby in their own name.
Can I put more than one item on a plan?
Yes. Add the items to your cart and pay one combined instalment. Your payments go to the cheapest item first, and we send each item as it is paid off. You can also have up to 3 active plans at once, as long as your combined instalments are no more than $600 per week.
